NO KIDDING! was founded in 1984 in Vancouver, BC, Canada, by Jerry Steinberg, our "Founding Non-Father." He formed NO KIDDING! because, while in his 30s, he began to lose many of his friends to their husbands, wives and especially their children, and he felt he needed some new friends who could talk about things other than kids, could be spontaneous, had the money, time and energy to do the things he enjoys doing, and whose lives didn't revolve around children.
